7. Multi-zone Connection-3 (ZONE
SPEAKER)
You can enjoy 2ch audio in the separate room by, for
example, playing a Blu-ray Disc player in the main room
(where this unit is located) and listening to internet radio
through the speakers in the separate room (ZONE 2).
0
You cannot use ZONE SPEAKER if you have connected
the front speakers using Bi-Amping connection.
0
No sound is played from the surround back speakers or
the height speakers when playing audio from ZONE
SPEAKER.
ZONE 2 (ZONE 2A for North American models)
Connect with HDMI IN 1 to 3 if you want to output an external AV
component to ZONE 2. If the AV component doesn't have an
HDMI jack, connect using a digital optical cable, digital coaxial
cable, or analog audio cable. If any of these are already used, you
do not have to connect using any of the others.
(North American models) ZONE 2B
You can output the same audio as described in ZONE 2A with
another set of speakers to output as ZONE 2B. In this case,
connect speakers with 8 Ω to 16 Ω impedance for ZONE 2 A/B.
These cannot be connected when height speakers are connected.
