click the GUI shortcut located on the
desktop and connect the COM serial port
Available COM ports will appear in the
drop

down box.
If the Arduino is connected correctly to the PC, an
option for “Arduino Micro (COMx)” will be
available (where x is the number associated with
the port); select that COM port and click connect.
