SECTION 2
Installation and Connections

Removing the Memory Card

1.

Stop the power supply to the Memory Card or turn OFF the V530-R160

 Refer to page 172 (Sec.6).

2.

Confirm that the Memory Card indicator is not lit.

Do not remove the Memory Card if the Mem-
ory Card indicator is lit.  
Doing so may damage the Memory Card or
the V530-R160 itself.

3.

Open the card lock.

4.

Press the eject button over the Memory card
slot.

The memory card will spring out a little.

5.

Pull the Memory Card straight out from the
slot.

Using Memory Cards in a Personal Computer

The V530-R160's Memory Cards can be used in a personal computer with a PC Card drive
(PCMCIA2.0/JEIDA4.1 or higher, type II compatible) or Compact Flash TM drive.
The Memory Card must be inserted into a PC Card Adapter in order to be used in a PC Card
drive.
