Power ON Using Safe Mode
Start condition: The IPC Machine Controller is OFF.
Additional Information
Use this procedure to start the Panel PC without starting the Machine Controller Software.

Remove the power supply connector.

Press and hold the power button on the Panel PC.

Connect the power supply connector while pressing the power button.
After 10 seconds the Panel PC starts in Safe Mode and the PWR LED will turn ON.

Wait until the PWR LED is ON and verify that the ERR LED is OFF.
The IPC Machine Controller is ON with the Windows Operating System in normal mode and the Ma-
chine Controller Software not active.
6-2-4 Auto Power ON
The Panel PC can be configured to start up when power is supplied to the power connector.
The
Power Loss Control BIOS setting controls this behavior.
Set the Power Loss Control setting to Turn ON to activate the Auto Power ON function.
