Send Transparent
Message Frame Transparent messages provide a message service in the FL-net's upper layer.
The service notifies the FL-net's upper layer of received messages. The FL-
net's upper layer notifies the user interface layer. When the user interface
layer is notified, a response to the notification must be created and returned.
Note Use the CMND(490) instruction to implement a transparent message through
the FL-net Unit. For details, refer to
TRANSPARENT MESSAGE SEND on
page 112 and TRANSPARENT MESSAGE RECEIVE FRAME READ on
page 117.
Vendor Message (FINS
Message) Vendors can implement their own message service in FL-net. In an OMRON
FL-net Unit, a FINS message service is used for vendor messages.
