Wiring for Power Supply
Section E-5
Note
Depending on the I/O device to which the Slave Unit is connected, an I/O
power supply connected to a multi-power supply Slave Unit may be a source
of noise. Even when the communications power is supplied collectively to all
Slave Units, a separate I/O power supply must be provided so that noise does
not affect the network.
E-5-5
Precautions in Supplying Power to Slave Units
Attentions should be paid for allowable currents of cables and Connectors as
well as for voltage drop, and for capacity and location of power supplies, when
the communications power or the I/O power is supplied.
