Adjusting Gamma

You can adjust the brightness of the image when the apparent brightness and color of the image vary from

monitor to monitor.

To adjust the gamma value, follow the procedure below.

From the [Filter] menu in the [Image Edit] window, select [Gamma].

The edit setting panel shows the [Gamma] options.

Drag the slider to adjust the gamma.

Click the [Apply] button.

The gamma adjustment is applied to the image in the image display area.

Tips

•

You can also click the edit box and directly enter a value using the keyboard. Press the Return key after entering a

value.

•

Values can range from 0.4 to 2.5.
