Disposal
Obtain information on the possibility of returning old devices
and used batteries to your handler free of charge.
Delete any personal data on the device before disposing
of it (refer to
Restoring the Default Factory Settings on
Page 173 ).
The adjacent symbol indicates that electrical and electronic
apparatus and batteries no longer required must be disposed
of separate from domestic waste in accordance with legal
directives. Remove batteries from the device. Dispose of the
device and the batteries at a collection point provided by your
local waste authorities. Dispose of the packaging materials
according to local regulations.
Defective and used batteries must be recycled in accordance
with the Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Return
batteries and/or the device via the collection points provided.
Packaging materials must be disposed of according to local
regulations.
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials
which can be disposed of at local recycling centres. Contact
your local authorities for information on the various options
available to ensure correct disposal.
