Connect a network cable to the copier.

Use a Category 5 or 5E network cable.

Connecting the Network Cable
Insert a network cable into the network port.

Insert one end of the network cable into the network port as shown in
the illustration.

Insert the other end of the network cable into an open port on the
network hub.
About the LEDs
LED1
LED2
LED1 (LINK):
This is lit when the network cable is connected
correctly. If this LED is not lit, check the
connection again, even if the copier appears to
be connected correctly. If this LED is not lit when
both ends are connected correctly, the network
cable may be damaged.
LED2 (ACT):
This LED blinks when data is being transfered.
