DISPLAY MESSAGES
The following table lists the messages of state, warning and error that can be visualized on the display of the
console, when the printer is equipped with alphanumeric display.

Inconsistency in printer configuration data (programming values)
saved in the dedicated Flash EPROM area. The printer forces the
default values for the firmware release.
•
Press any key on the console, when appropriate, to display
the next anomaly.
• Check if the default values forced by the printer are the correct
ones by printing the configuration data. See the section
“Activating and deactivating the print test” on page 2 - 10
• Proceed with initialisation of the printer.

Inconsistency of calibration values (photosensors, alignments etc).
All the calibration values are initialised with their default values.

Press any key on the console to display the next anomaly,
when necessary.
• Perform all the printer calibrations. See the section
“PROGRAMMING AND CALIBRATION” on page 4 - 1
• Replace the motherboard. See the section Disassembling/
reassembling the motherboard (printers with scanner) or
Disassembling/reassembling the motherboard (printers with
serial number 8.xxx.xxx and 1.xxx.xxx)

Memory Maintenance data area corrupted.
Impossible to recover valid maintenance data from the dedicated
Flash EPROM area. The maintenance data will be reinitialised
with the value «0».

generator.
