MICR Calibration
To calibrate the MICR, proceed as described below:
1.
Open the printer cover.
2. Power on the printer, with the cover open, keeping the three
console keys pressed.
3.
Wait until the acoustic signal that indicates that the calibration
and adjustment procedure has begun.
Close the printer cover.

Press the STATION2 key and wait until there is a complete
mechanical reset of the printer.
5. Press the LOCAL key.
6. Insert an A4 sheet. The printer prints the operation notes for
this calibration procedure.
7.
Press the LOCAL key to proceed.
8.
Check the MICR calibration value written on the MICR CALIBRATION CHEQUE, coded with spare parts code
474245A. This value is written at the bottom, halfway down the document (example: 95).

Press the STATION 2 key until you find the corresponding
value written on the "MICR calibration cheque".
10. Press the STATION1 key to confirm.
11.
The A4 sheet is ejected from the printer.
12.
To calibrate the MICR head, insert the MICR CALIBRATION CHEQUE board into the front slot of the printer.
13. The MICR head performs 5 transactions and, at the end, saves the calibration reached, consistent with the
value given on the MICR CALIBRATION CHEQUE board.
14.
The printer ejects the MICR CALIBRATION CHEQUE board.
