ENABLING/DISABLING THE ECM MODE ...
ECM (Error Correction Mode) is a system for cor-
recting errors caused by line interference. This func-
tion is effective only if it has been enabled both on
your fax and on the that of the remote party. It is
highlighted by a "E" on the display.
The fax machine is already set to transmit with this
mode but you can set it to transmit normally as fol-
lows:

Using telediagnosis you can authorize a remote ter-
minal, managed by a specialized technician to con-
trol the operation of your fax machine.
The fax machine is already set for the remote diag-
nostic function. If you want to disactivate it, proceed
