FK-502/Network Fax

ADJUSTMENT

/ SETTING

NOTE
• When Line 2 is selected, V8/V34 Protocol of [Protocol], all items of [Int’l Comm.

Function], and all items of [Others] can be set.

B. Detailed explanation
(1) V17 EP TONE and V29 EP TONE

• Whether the EP tone (Echo Protect: 2100Hz) is added to the top of the training signal.

(2) V17 Selection Mode “-”

• V.34 is not used when a dash (-) is added at the top of dial number.

(3) ANSam Send Time

• Determines the ANSam output time of V.8 procedure signal.
• Normally you do not need to change.

(4) Foreign Communication Function

• V.34, V.17 and V.29 International communication mode speed
• The mode using the number of DIS waiting is turned ON.
• The international communication mode setting at the time of transmission becomes

effective.

(5) T1

• T1 timer (T.30 standard) :Calling: Designate by the response waiting timer

:Called: Starts after DIS is output. The waiting time until DCS is
received.

• Response waiting timer (55sec)

: Calling: Starts after dialing. Until CED is received.
