Having confirmed the "EXT.LINE:FLASH" dialling mode to
connect to the public line, simply press the key before
dialling the correspondent’s fax or telephone number. The
display will show the letter "
E " (external).

OU WANT TO CHANGE THE DIALLING MODE TEMPORARILY
This function is only enabled in some countries.
If the fax machine is set up for pulse dialling (decadic) and
you want to change it to tone dialling (multifrequency):
Press the key, before dialling the fax or telephone
number, to change the dialing mode temporarily.
At the end of transmission, the fax machine always restores
the dialling mode set up on it.
