Service Manual

(2) Storage and handling of the drum

Note the following when handling or storing the drum unit.
When removing the drum unit, never expose the drum surface to strong direct light.
Keep the place where an ambient temperature is between -20°C/-4°F and 40°C/104°F and at a ambient 
humidity is not higher than 85% RH. Avoid abrupt changes in temperature and humidity.
Avoid exposure to any substance which is harmful to or may affect the quality of the drum unit.
Do not touch the drum surface with any object. Do not touch the bare hand and glove etc. When touch the 
surface of the drum by hand or adhere to the oil etc, make sure to clean it.

(3) Storage of the toner container

Store the toner container in a cool, dark place.
Avoid direct light and high humidity.
