4.2 Write section
4.2.1 Cleaning of the PH window Y/M/C/K
A. Periodically cleaning parts/cycle
• PH window Y,M,C,K: when toner cartridge is replaced
B. Procedure
1. Open the lower front door.
2. Pull out tray 2 and remove the clean-
ing tool [1] from tray 2.
3. Insert the cleaning tool [1] into the
print head cleaning opening [2], pull
it out, and then repeat this back-and-
forth movement two or three times.
NOTE
• When using the cleaning tool, put
the side with “UP” stamping [3]
face up.
• Clean the PH window of each CMYK
color.
• When cleaning the PH window of K
color, release the lock lever for the
imaging unit.
