4.3.2 Replacing the drum unit/K
A. Periodically replaced parts/cycle
• Drum unit/K: Every 285,000 counts
B. Removal procedure
NOTE
• In this procedure, the state in which the drum unit/K and the developing unit/K are
assembled is called “imaging unit/K.”
1. Open the lower front door.
2. Remove the waste toner box.
See P.51
3. Loosen the shoulder screw [1], and
pull out the drum unit/K [2].
4. Hold the fixed levers [1] for the drum
unit/K at two positions, and remove
the drum unit/K [2] while loosening
the fixed lever.
