Control conditions
Power supply cooling fan
motor (FM8)
• To avoid temperature increase at the DC power supply section, heat
accumulated inside the machine will be discharged outside.
Suction fan motor (FM10) • Paper will be sucked between 2nd transfer part and fusing part, so it will
have a stable behavior and go smoothly into the fusing roller.
• The air inside will be exhausted outside the unit.
Fusing cover cooling fan
motor (FM11)
• When the paper with toner heated at fusing part exit while still at high
temperature, toner may be transferred to other paper on the exit tray.
In order to avoid this, air is applied to cool the toner and paper.
Fusing cooling fan motor
(FM13)
• To avoid temperature increase at the switchback motor, heat accumu-
lated at the paper exit drive section will be discharged outside the
machine.
• To avoid temperature increase in paper, heat accumulated inside the
paper exit section will be discharged outside the machine.
Exhaust fan motor (FM14) • A white belt may occur on the image because of the lower sensitivity of
the PC drum due to ozone accumulated around the PC drum charge
corona. In order to avoid this trouble, ozone filter removes the ozone
inside the PC drum charge corona to keep the sensitivity of the PC drum.
• Ozone accumulated around PC drum charge corona will be absorbed by
ozone filter and be removed.
Cooling fan motor/1
(FM16)
• To avoid temperature increase at the imaging unit, PH unit, or image
transfer section, outside air will be taken into the machine.
