Composition/Operation
*1: During a print job of many pages, there is a possibility that image stabilization may not
be performed until the end of the print job. When the printer detects that the print count
from the last time when image stabilization was performed reaches 1000 or more, print-
ing is stopped and image stabilization is performed. When the printer detects that the
print count from the last time when image stabilization was performed reaches 800 or
more, image stabilization is performed during an interval between sets of prints.
*2: Image stabilization will operate in mode 2 if the gamma correction data was not within a
predetermined range in the image stabilization performed last time.
*3: How to count the number of prints
• Image stabilization will operate in mode 1 if the value provided by the “IDC registration
sensor detection” at the time of the last image stabilization was out of a predetermined
range.
• Image stabilization will operate in mode 1 if a trouble code (P-21/P-22) appeared during
the last image stabilization.
