This section explains how to replace consumable items when due.
As a guide, the life expectancy of these items is:

Toner — 1,000 A4 pages at 5% coverage, which means
that 5% of the addressable print area is printed with this
colour. Toner life is directly affected by coverage, e.g. at
10% coverage there is sufficient toner for 500 pages.
The MFP is shipped with sufficient toner for 1,000 A4
pages. 500 A4 pages worth of this starter toner is
used to charge each image drum. Therefore, as the
toner is released into the image drum, the printer
displays messages to replace toner well in advance.
Replacement toner does have to charge the image drum.

Replacement toner is available in High Capacity as well as
standard cartridges.
>
Image drum — 15,000 pages (calculated on typical office
usage of 3 A4 pages per job).
>
Transfer belt — Approximately 50,000 A4 pages at 3
pages per job.
>
Fuser — Approximately 30,000 A4 pages (d-Color MF1600),
50,000
A4 pages (d-Color MF2000).
