Install/Uninstall USB drivers on Windows

In the Device Manager (see figure 2.27) there will be a device under

Other devices with a yellow

warning symbol to indicate a problem i.e. no driver installed. If the drivers has been installed already it

will show up under

Universal Serial Port Controllers. The text next to this device will depend on the

device attached. In this example the device was an eXp 4000 device. Right click on the device (eXp 4000

in this example) to bring up a menu as shown below.

From the displayed menu select

Update Driver Software…

which then displays the option for an

automatic or manual search. Select the second option to browse manually.
