Turning the Power On/Off

Powering Off
Before turning off the power, make sure that the Printer is ready to receive data
(standby screen is displayed).

Hold down POWER on the Printer's
panel for about 1 second.
When Shutting Down is displayed,
release the button.
If a job exists, it is saved automatically.
Printing for the saved job is available
the next time the power is turned on.
After the shutdown process is completed, the power turns off.

Main power switch
If the Printer will not be used for a long
time, turn off the main power switch.
Press the main power switch to the side (lower
side).
Note
Always turn off the power using the POWER button on the operation panel.
Directly turning off the main switch may damage the data stored inside the
Printer.
Do not turn off the power when the
REMOTE
lamp is flashing.
