Precautions for replacing consumables

Note the following points during the replacement.

WARNING

Do not throw the toner or toner cartridge in fire. Toner may fly off, thus

causing burns.

Do not store the toner cartridge in a place with fire. It may catch fire, thus
causing a fire or burns.

Do not clean up spilled toner using an electric vacuum cleaner. When spilled

toner is cleaned up using an electric vacuum cleaner, fire may be caused due
to sparks from electrical contacts. Wipe off and remove the toner spilled on
the floor using a wet cloth.

CAUTION

There are high-temperature parts inside the machine. Do not touch any parts

with the "Caution: High Temperature" label. Doing so may cause burns.

Keep the toner cartridge out of the reach of children.

When toner is inhaled, gargle with a lot of water and move the person to a
place with fresh air. Consult a physician as necessary.

When there is toner on the skin or hands, wash it off with soapy water.

If toner gets into eyes, immediately wash it off with a large quantity of water.

Consult a physician as necessary.

If toner is swallowed by mistake, consult a physician as necessary.
