4.3 Protocol Dump Printing
The OF-38
is able to
print protocol dump data. (e.g. Figure4.3.1)
Service personnel can check the communication protocol signals of one facsimile by
analyzing these dump data based on the kind of control signal (of Group 3) that has
been input and output.
(1) Setting procedure
a)
Turn ON AC
power
switch,
Turn ON of on the NCU PC board.
(Refer to sub-item 3.6.2.1 in Chapter 3.)
c)
Depress the PROGRAM key for 5 seconds or more.

TECHNICAL PROGRAM
PROGRAM NO.
Tap
q q
for enabling protocol dump.
The LC
Display shows:
DUMP
ON
Bring the cursor to ON position by using the CURSOR key, and press the
ENTER key.
The LC Display shows:
Upon this setting, the machine be printed out the dump data
automatically, after each facsimile communication has been terminated.
