Replacing the image drum and the toner cartridge
This section explains how to replace both the image drum and toner cartridge with new ones.
Refer to "
(P.315)" if you want to replace only the image drum with a new one but
continue using the existing toner cartridge.

Prepare a new image drum and a new toner cartridge.

Press the front cover open button on the side of this machine, and then open the front cover
toward you.

Make sure that the position of the blue lever on the left side of the toner cartridge is the lock
mark.
Do not touch the blue lever. The image drum cannot be removed when the lever is moved.

Hold the toner cartridge, push it up a little, and then pull it out toward you. Remove the toner
cartridge with the image drum attached.
Do not remove the image drum from the toner cartridge.
