Using the SCAN TO E-MAIL button, you can have an original document scanned and the
data sent by e-mail as an attachment.

The main steps in summary are:
(a)
Press the SCAN TO E-MAIL button.
(b)
On the Address tab, enter address and sender details.
(c)
On the Message Text tab, enter your subject and e-mail message.
(d)
On the Attachments tab, define your attachment properties, using the
Advanced Settings features as required.
(e)
Set your document on the scanner unit and press START.
These steps are expanded below.
1.
Press the SCAN TO E-MAIL button to display the E-mail Send Mode screen at the
Address tab
2.
Press the To button (1) and enter an e-mail address via one of the following
buttons:

Address Book (2)
>
LDAP (3)
>
Soft Keyboard (4)
>
Fax Gateway (5)
NOTE
At any time, you can press the Active Jobs, Job Log buttons to check the
status of your work.
