7. Utility Software
Connecting the Machine to the Authentication Switch

Check that the machine is turned off.

Connect the LAN cable to the network interface connector of the machine.

Connect the other side of LAN cable to the authentication port of an
authentication switch.

Turn on the machine.

Set the IP address of the machine, etc.
You can set the IEEE802.1X authentication using the wireless LAN connection. In the first
place, set the IEEE802.1X authentication on the web page of this machine, and then set the
wireless settings on the web page.
Setting by Using EAP-TLS

Open the Web page of this machine.
Open the Web Page of This Machine

Log in as the administrator.

Click [Admin Setup].

Select [Network] > [IEEE802.1X].

Select [Disable] for [IEEE802.1X].

Select [EAP-TLS] for [EAP Type].

Enter a user name in [EAP User].

Select [Do not use SSL/TLS Certificate for EAP authentication], and then click
[Import].
If [Use SSL/TLS Certificate for EAP authentication] is selected, set the certificate in the [SSL/TLS] menu
beforehand.

Select the certificate file.
You can only import a PKCS#12 file.

Enter the password of the certificate, and then click [OK].

Select [Authenticate Server], and then click [Import].
If you select [Not authenticate Server], go to step 13.

Select the CA certificate file, and then click [OK].
