
If Paper in the Tray is not Fed Properly
Memo
If you cannot solve a problem with the following solutions, contact your dealer.
Paper often jams. Multiple sheets of paper are pulled in at the same time. Paper is pulled in at
an angle.
Reference
The printer is inclined.
Place the printer on a flat surface.
The paper is too light or too heavy.
Use the appropriate paper for the printer.
The paper is damp or has a static
charge.
Use paper stored under proper temperature and humidity
conditions.
The paper is wrinkled, folded, or
curled.
Use the appropriate paper for the printer. Fix the curled
paper.
The edges of the paper are not
aligned.
Align the edges of the paper before loading.
There is only one sheet of paper in
the paper tray.
Load multiple sheets of paper in the paper tray.
You added paper to the paper stack
that is already in the paper tray.
Remove the loaded paper, stack it onto the new paper, and
then align the edges of all the paper.
Paper is loaded at an angle.
Adjust the paper stopper and paper guide of the paper
cassette to the paper. For the MP tray, adjust the manual
feeding paper guide to the paper.

About Paper Sizes, Weight, and
There is an error in the
printer's menu settings.
Select [MENUS] > [TRAY CONFIG] on the printer's setup menu, and
then set the size of the loaded paper in [**PAPERSIZE] (** indicates
tray).
Even after the jammed paper was removed, the printer does not work.
