5. Maintenance
5.1. Annual maintenance
Installation, commissioning or service of equipment must be
carried out by authorized personnel only, adhering to all local
regulations and requirements.
Heat pumps containing more than 3000 g of refrigerant must be annually checked and
maintained by a professional service provider.
If needed, clean and replace the brine and heating circuit filters. In addition, check all
circulation pumps, actuators, and sensors.
Each time an annual maintenance is performed, the service provider must fill out a
form in the maintenance sheets delivered with the heat pump. Also a sticker informing
about the next required annual maintenance should be placed. The sticker should be
located in a visible place of the heat pump.
5.2. Cleaning the circuit filter
Switch off electricity before performing any maintenance work.
Open the filter carefully, as there is fluid in the pipe.
1. To switch off the heat pump, use the main power switch.
2. Shut the filter isolation valves.
3. Open the filter cover.
4. Remove the filter element and clean it by rinsing with water.
5. Place the filter element back.
6. Fill the filter space with brine.
7. Close the filter cover.
8. Open the filter isolation valves.
9. To switch the heat pump back on, use the main power switch.
5.3. Troubleshooting
Failure codes
Device failures are displayed on the control panel. Check the failure code and cause by
pressing the Information button.
