Calibration Guide
PREPARATION
Adventurer Pro balances have two calibration methods: Span and Linearity. Some models have
Internal Calibration (InCal
) for Span calibration.
Ensure that the scale is level, stable, and undisturbed during calibration.
(Otherwise the process could fail.)
Allow scale to warm up for five minutes after stabilizing to room temperature.
Use suitable calibration masses (available from Ohaus).
Exact weight value depends on model. Follow prompts for indicated values to use.
(Weight values here are examples only.)
Calibration may be locked out. To unlock it, use the Unlock menu.
If the scale is set to
Legal for Trade operation, a seal must be broken to unlock it.
(See the Instruction Manual.)
