4.18 VHF
RADIO

The boat can be delivered with a VHF radio Garmin 110i and which allows you to
contact the Coast Guard, port managers and other boats via radio. The VHF radio has a
long range and is an excellent complement to ordinary mobile telephony. Study the
handbook carefully and learn how to use it, especially for calls for help (SOS/MayDay)
and calls to other boats and ships. The adjustable VHF antenna is installed on the roof
rack, and the VHF device with microphone is placed directly on the dashboard. When
the device is not in use, the protective cover is to be mounted on the front of the unit.
For complete instructions on operation and maintenance, we refer to the separate OEM
owner’s manual that was developed specifically for this equipment. It is provided with the
Ockelbo document bag.
4.19 E
XTRA SEATING
&
STORAGE AT BOW DECK

As a factory accessory, the boat can be equipped with one or two combined seats/stows
at the bow deck. See chapter 7, figure 1 and position 34. These offer extra storage and
are drained, and can also be used as temporary seating at speeds up to 10 knots.
The stows are fastened with bolts and can, therefore, be dismantled if necessary.
