21.3 Appliance reset
The OTS controller can be restarted by pressing the device
reset.

Open the menu.

21.4 Re-inputting available elements
If the data connection between the mobile device/
touchscreen and controller is faulty or if the system is re-
configuring, the system may not be displayed correctly in
the app and on the touchscreen. In this case, reload the
available elements.

Select “Connection”.

Select “Available elements”.

In the next window, select “Yes”.
21.5 System lockout
The heat pump has a fault and can no longer be operated.
The OTS controller could not solve the problem and has
locked the system.
The system lockout protects the heat pump from irreparable
damage.
In the event of a system lockout, a differentiation
is made between emergency mode and system failure.

A notification can be set up for the event of a sys

tem lockout.
This notifies you by email in the case
of a system lockout. (See page 50, Changing

Press the Status symbol to check whether the system
is in emergency mode or has completely failed.

Here you will find information about the status of your
heat pump. It describes the next steps.
The electric auxiliary heater runs to cover the heating/
DHW load.
Description
The electric auxiliary heater cannot be operated. No heat
is generated.
21.5.1 Emergency mode
In emergency mode, the auxiliary heater starts up to cover
the heating/DHW load.
Emergency mode is deactivated when the heat pump is
unlocked.
Procedure

Contact your service partner.

Press the Status symbol.
»
Read the information about emergency mode careful-
ly and confirm.
After confirmation, you will receive information about the
operating program in emergency mode.

Read the information carefully.
»
Return to the main screen.
»
Select the preferred operating program.
»
Carry out these settings for each heating circuit and
each DHW circuit.
Note
Even in emergency mode, you can set the target
values and time programs. This enables you to re-
duce additional heating costs.

The heating circuit is switched
off. Frost protection remains
active.
Emergency mode
Heat generation is reduced by
25%.
Heat is generated via the electric
auxiliary heater. This can result
in higher running costs.
Comfort
Heat generation is not reduced.
The temperature is regulated to
the selected target room temper-
ature. Heat is generated via the
electric auxiliary heater. This can
result in higher running costs.
This setting remains active for 7
days. The setting is then reset.
To continue to use this operating
program, you must confirm the
information about emergency
mode again.
