Appliance description
Condenser:
The condenser takes the form of a plate heat exchanger.
The plate heat exchanger is built of stainless steel and
insulated on all sides against condensation and heat loss.
4.3.2 Outdoor unit
The outdoor unit is intended to be installed outside. The
outdoor unit is designed as a split evaporator. The indoor
unit is connected to the outdoor unit with refrigerant lines,
along with electrical control and power supply cables.
Evaporator:
The evaporator is part of the outdoor unit and consists of
copper pipes in a set of aluminium fins.
Note
With an air/water heat pump, frost may form on
the evaporator fins of the outdoor unit, depending
on the air temperature (below approx. +7°C), air
humidity and the operating point. The evaporator
fins are automatically de-iced again in cyclical de -
frosting mode of the heat pump.
Fan:
The outdoor air is drawn through the evaporator by a quiet
fan.
Compressor:
The fully hermetically sealed compressor is designed for
high efficiency heat pump applications.
4.3.3 Heat pump control unit
The OTS heat pump controller includes software capable
of automatically controlling heat pump heating systems
with a cooling function as well as DHW heating.
All the settings required in the system can be made using
the user interface on the heat pump or via the app.
The OTS controller can control the following system circuits
and heat generators:
► 1x direct circuit (heating and/or cooling)
► 1x direct or mixed circuit (heating and/or cooling)
► 1x directly heated DHW tank
► 1x heat pump (heating and cooling)
► 1x internal, electric auxiliary heater
4.4 Name plate
To identify your heat pump, name plates are attached to
the indoor and outdoor unit.
