3.4 Initial inspection
After installation and connection of all the equipment, check the operation of all light(s) fixtures.
Never look directly the light sources when in operation from a close distance.
The light fixtures can emit light beams in the visible and infrared spectrum causing potential
danger to eyesight.
Before the commissioning of the system it is necessary to submit it to an inspection by the competent authority,
that should ensure that operation have been carried out correctly (Aerodrome Design Manual - Part 4).
The inspection includes various checks and measures:

Check the light beam
●
Check inclination and alignment
●
Check brightness
●
Check the compatibility with ILS/MLS system (if present)
