VI. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Cleaning the appliance
Unplug the appliance and remove foodstuffs. Clean the
interior using warm water and sodium bicarbonate. Add
2 soupspoons of sodium bicarbonate to one litre of water.
Wash the drawers with a gentle detergent. Clean the
outside of the appliance with a gentle detergent and
warm water.
Warning: Unplug the appliance before cleaning to avoid
risk of electrocution or injury. A cut in the power supply
for a short period of time generally does not affect the
temperature of the appliance, provided you avoid
opening the door. If power is disconnected for a long
period, you will need to protect your foodstuffs.
Absences
Short-term absences
: Leave the appliance plugged in if
you are away for less than three weeks.
Long absences
: if the appliance is not used for several
months, remove the foodstuffs and unplug the power
cable. Clean and dry the inside of the appliance
