Bluetooth mode
Press Mode button repeatly to show “BT” on the display.
The radio’s Bluetooth wireless receiver can receive and
play audio data files but does not support Bluetooth
headphones.
Before the radio can be used as a powered speaker to
play audio files received from a Bluetooth source device it
must be connected (i.e. paired) to the device.
The Bluetooth source device controls the pairing process;
find DK-821B in the list of available devices on the
Bluetooth source device and pair the two devices. The
“BT” icon will stop flickering when the two devices are
paired.
Once paired the radio and source device will recognize
each other, automatically connect and start playing the
received audio files.
After pairing the radio and Bluetooth device will
automatically recognize each other whenever the radio is
in Bluetooth mode and in range i.e. less than 10 meters.
The audio files are played as they are received by the
radio with playback volume controlled by the
/-
knob.
To go to the main menu while in Bluetooth mode; press
and hold the
Info/Menu
button; press and release to
return to Bluetooth mode.
