Introduction
Task for operators
The finisher of the Océ VarioPrint 2090 has two staplers to staple sets. The
finisher can also have an off-line stapler.
You can staple documents as follows.
■
1 staple in portrait direction
■
2 staples in portrait direction
■
1 staple in landscape direction.
Select the correct document type to create a document with a landscape
staple.

The screen displays a dialogue if your set is too thick to staple. The stapler
cannot handle sets of more sheets than 80 sheets or sets thicker than 8.25 mm.
The number of 80 sheets was defined for Océ Red Label paper of 80 g/m
2
(20
lb bond). If you see the dialogue described above, you can do the following.
■
Continue without staples.
■
Cancel the job.
If one of the staplers is empty or runs empty, the screen displays a dialogue.
You can do the following.
■
Continue without staples.
■
Refill the staplers.
■
Cancel the job.
