Scan different job parts
Introduction
You must make different job parts when the set of originals has more than one
original type (see ‘
Prepare the scan job ’ on page 107 ).
To start a scan job with different job parts, proceed as follows.

Prepare the first job part.
■
Enter the settings for the digital document.
■
Enter the settings for the first job part.
■
Press the Combine key .
■
Prepare the next job part.
■
Enter the settings for the next job part.
■
Press the Combine key .
■
Press the Start key .
Before you begin
■
Inspect the originals and make different job parts (see ‘ Prepare the scan
job ’ on page 107 ).
How to scan different job parts

Collect the job parts.

Place the originals of the first job part, face down in the automatic document
feeder or on the platen.
Follow the feed direction according to the dimensions and orientation of the
information of the job part (see ‘
Prepare the scan job ’ on page 107 ).

Select the 'Scan' mode .
The 'Workflow' section opens automatically.

Select a 'Scan profile' with the Arrow keys (see ‘ About the scan profiles ’ on
page 104 ).

Enter the settings for the digital document.

Activate the 'Digital document' section.
Make sure that the 'Page size' card is open.
■
Select the page size and the orientation in the 'Size' function box.
