File Type
The following file types are available.
Scan Setting
Specifies a group of data.

Detail
Even if you select "Single Page" to save a document in a user box, you need to specify a page to
download data.
Encryption
If you select PDF, you can specify the encryption level.
Encryption - Detail Settings
When you specify document permissions with "Encryption", you can specify detailed permissions.
Item Description
PDF Saves the data in the PDF format.
TIFF Saves the data in the TIFF format.
XPS Saves the data in the XPS format.
When saved in the XPS format, a hard disk is optionally required.
Item Description
Single Page Creates a file in a format that allows data to be saved for each page when downloading data.
Multi Page Creates a single file from the entire scanned document.

Level Specifies the encryption level.
Password Type in the password necessary to open encrypted data (up to 32 characters). For confirmation, type
in the password twice.
Document
Permissions Type in the password necessary to change document permissions (up to 32 characters). For confir-
mation, type in the password twice.
