14.1 Number of Stored Pages to Memory
This machine is equipped with an optional 40 GB hard disk. When you install
the optional hard disk, the fax image can be saved in the area of 30 GB in the
hard disk.
In the hard disk, it is possible to store about 9,000 Océ standard originals in
an A4 size sheet with 700 words that are saved and received in each mode
(Copy, Printer, Scan, Box, and Fax). (at “fine” resolution).
If this hard disk is not installed, the image memory capacity is 32MB and
about 2,000 sheets can be saved.
Contact the service representative for the optional hard disk.
Number of stored pages may differ depending on the original size, resolution
and the state of original.

Memory overflow may occur when the original document is being read.
In this case, you can either transmit the part of the original that has been
read, or redo the procedure from the beginning.
