Reducing or enlarging images

Select the Scan mode.
The list of available scan profiles is shown.

If not yet selected, select the required profile using the arrow buttons.

Place the set of originals in the automatic document feeder or align the original
on the glass platen.

Open the ‘Original’ section.

Indicate whether the originals are 1 or 2-sided (from the glass platen only
1-sided originals can be scanned).

Press ‘Book binding’ or ‘Calendar binding’ to select the icon representing the
orientation of information on your original page(s). See figure 6 on page 20.

Press the ’Digital document’ section button and select the required page size.
For an original in the automatic feeder, the required reduction or enlargement
percentage is now set.

To manually set a required reduction/enlargement percentage, press the
’Reduction or enlargement’ function button and then use
‘
’ or ‘ ’, in order to select one of the preset standard values.
‘ ’ or ‘ ’, in order to select a percentage between 25 and 400%.

Select other settings as required.

Start scanning using the combine button ( ) or the start button ( ).
