Figure 18 – Page 8
The upper setting screw is used to set the end deac-
tivation when the awning is retracted. Rotate the
screw in the direction (+) to extend the operating
time, rotate in the direction (-) to shorten the operat-
ing time.
Example:
The motor continues to operate with the awning is
fully retracted, rotate the setting screw in the direction
(-).
Figure 19 – Page 8
Figure 20 – Page 8
The lower setting screw is used to set the end deac-
tivation when the awning is extended. Rotate the
screw in the direction (+) to extend the operating
time, rotate in the direction (-) to shorten the operat-
ing time.
Example:
The motor stops operating with the awning not fully
extended, rotate the setting screw in the direction (+).
The correct setting is determined by extending and
retracting the awning multiple times.
Adjust the hinged arms
Figure 22 – Page 8
– Extend the awning by 5 cm.
– Undo the 2 screws on the mount, but do not
remove completely.
– One person supports the hinged arm to ensure
that it is horizontal.
– The other person tightens the loose screws back
up (alternating the top and bottom screws).
Programming the wind sensor
Figure 21 – Page 8
To check the programming, proceed as follows:
– Extend the awning fully using the remote control.
– Press the wind sensor button (A).
If the awning does not retract, proceed as follows:
– With the awning fully extended, press button (13)
and button (14) simultaneously.
– Press the wind sensor button (B).
– Press the wind sensor button (A).
Setting the wind sensor
The sensitivity of the wind sensor can be adjusted.
The setting should match the listed wind resistance
class of the awning.
– Rotate the setting wheel (C) to the desired posi-
tion.
Cleaning and maintenance
If the awning becomes wet, extend as soon as possi-
ble to allow it to dry. Unsightly spots may appear if wet
awning fabric is rolled up for longer periods of time.
The awning fabric can be cleaned by dry brushing.
Remove persistent dirt and stains with warm soapy
water and a brush. Allow fabric to dry before retract-
ing.
CAUTION! Risk of damage to the
device!
When the front cover bumps up
against the cap, the maximum end position
has been reached.
CAUTION! Risk of damage to the
device!
The cloth must be tensioned and
may not sag.
ATTENTION! Potential risk of injury!
The adjustment of the hinged arms must
be carried out by two people.
CAUTION! Risk of damage to the
device!
Make sure that the awning
extends horizontally. If this is not the case,
adjust the angle of inclination of the hinged
arms. When loosening the setting screws
make sure that the hinged arms are not
under pressure. Uneven extension/retrac-
tion can lead to deformation of the awning.
The hinged arms should also be read-
justed if the awning creaks or squeaks dur-
ing the extension or retraction movement.
Note:
The wind sensor and motor are pro-
grammed at the factory.
ATTENTION! Product damages!
Do not
expose the awning to wet weather condi-
tions unnecessarily!
Ripples in the vicinity of the hem, seam
and panels is the result of multiple ply fab-
ric and different wrapping thickness on the
cloth spindle. The stretching in the material
that results can produce patterns on the
fabric (e.g. honeycomb or herringbone pat-
terns). Likewise ripples from wrapping next
to the seam on the rolled up and unrolled
cloth are caused by double ply material in
the vicinity of the stitching.
