10. Let the appliance rest for 1 minute between each use to avoid overheating.
11. Wipe off any liquid and particles from the vacuum channel (10) after each vacuum sealing.
12. Be careful that no liquid is sucked into the appliance. Any consequential damage will not be cov-
ered by the warranty.
Unplug the appliance after use. Do not press the lid of the appliances to locking in order
that the gaskets are not deformed, which can affect the functioning of the appliance.
Defrosting and warming of vacuum packed products in a vacuum bag
The vacuum bags from OBH Nordica can be used in a microwave oven and can even simmer in water.
Open the bag by cutting off a corner to let air get into the vacuum bag to be defrosted/heated in the
micro wave oven.
The bag can be heated by putting it in a sauce pan with simmering water.
The bags must only be used for defrosting and re-heating of food. Do not use the bags for preparation
of food.
NOTE! Never reuse bags that have been treated in the micro wave oven or that have
been simmering in water.
Vacuum sealing of vacuum containers
1. Place the appliance on an even surface and plug to a wall outlet (the signal lamps Dry and Normal
go on).
2. Make sure that the vacuum container and its lid are clean and dry.
3. Put the ingredients in the vacuum container. Put on the lid on the vacuum container.
4.
Open the lid (15) of the appliance. Press one of the vacuum tubes (8) with
the biggest coupling on the tube coupling of the appliance. Press the
other end down into the hole of the lid of the vacuum container.
5.
Turn the lock of the lid to the ”SEAL” position.
6. Press the button placed askew above the tube coupling under the lid of the appliance marked
”Canister switch” (6). The vacuum sealing starts at once.
