15 Warranty
One-Year Limited Warranty
Shenzhen OBDSTAR Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "OBDSTAR") promises
to the original retail buyer of this product that within one year from the date of delivery, if
under normal use, this product or any part thereof proves to be defective in material or
workmanship resulting in device failure, upon proof of purchase, the Company will repair or
replace it (with a new product or modified part) at no charge to you, depending on the
circumstances.
OBDSTAR shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damage caused by misuse,
improper operation or improper installation of the device. Because some countries or states
do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, the above limitations may not
apply to you.
The following are not warranted under this limited warranty under any circumstances:
1. Any product damaged due to abnormal use or unusual conditions, accidents, mishandling,
human negligence, unauthorized alterations, improper use, improper installation or
maintenance, or improper storage.
2. Products whose mechanical or electronic serial numbers have been removed, altered or
damaged.
3. Damage caused by exposure to high temperatures or extreme environmental conditions.
4. Damage caused by connecting to or using accessories or other products not approved or
authorized by the Company.
5. Defects in the appearance of the product, ornaments, or decorative or structural items
such as frames and non-operating parts.
6. Products damaged by external causes such as fire, mud, sand, leaking batteries, blown
fuses, theft, or misuse of any power source.
