CAUTION: A PRESSURE REGULATOR, SUCH AS A SLOW FLOW REGULATOR,
MUST BE INSTALLED IN FRONT OF THE WATER INLET IF THE WATER
PRESSURE (INCLUDING ANY SPIKES) COULD EXCEED 7 BAR (700kPa)
15.
On models with a hot tank, turn on the hot tank by depressing the switch toward the “ON”
position.
CAUTION: ON MODELS WITH A HOT TANK, THE HOT TANK SWITCH MUST BE
IN THE “OFF” POSITION. SWITCH IS MOUNTED AT THE REAR OF THE
COOLER ON THE CONDENSER / SHELF.
CAUTION: WATER FROM THE HOT FAUCET CAN SCALD
Installing CO2 bottle
1.
Install the CO2 bottle into the filter compartment. (Refer to “Accessing Filter Compartment”
section)
2.
Connect the CO2 bottle to the CO2 pressure regulator.
3.
Tighten the regulator with the correct spanner.
4.
Secure bottle with the Velcro strap.
5.
Turn valve on the CO2 bottle to the open position and check for CO2 leaks.
6.
Set the gauge on the pressure regulator to 4 bar (60PSI)
Cook, Cold, & Carbo Model
1.
Turn ON mains water, check all connections for leaks.
2.
Connect unit to power supply; for models with an IEC power inlet:
a.
Connect the female portion of the approved power cord into the IEC inlet
b.
Insert the plug top of the power cord into the electrical supply socket
3.
Draw water from the Cook and Cold faucets
4.
Press & hold purge button, and draw water from carbo faucet
5.
Set to OPEN the CO2 regulator
6.
Set Flow Regulator to Max open (Turn allen key anti-clockwise fully)
7.
Draw water from the carbo faucet, and slowly rotate the allen key (Clockwise) until desired
carbonation level is obtained.
8.
Allow about 30 minutes for the water to chill after the cooler is plugged in. (Optimum cold
water temperatures will not be reached for several hours).
Hot, Cold, & Carbo Model
1.
Partially fill the reservoir - about 3/4 full, check all connections for leaks.
2.
Connect unit to power supply; for models with an IEC power inlet:
a.
Connect the female portion of the approved power cord into the IEC inlet
b.
Insert the plug top of the power cord into the electrical supply socket
3.
Open the hot faucet until water flows freely
4.
Turn ON mains water.
5.
Draw water from the hot and cold faucets
6.
Place the hot tank heater switch in the “ON” position
7.
Press & hold purge button, and draw water from carbo faucet
8.
Set to OPEN the CO2 regulator
9.
Set Flow Regulator to Max open (Turn allen key anti-clockwise fully)
10.
Draw water from the carbo faucet, and slowly rotate the allen key (Clockwise) until desired
carbonation level is obtained.
