Commissioning/start-up
CAUTION
The ultra-violet radiation of the UVC lamp can damage your eyes and skin.

Never operate the UVC lamp outside its housing.
 Disconnect the unit from the mains before starting maintenance or before replacing the UVC
lamp.
NOTE
 First open the installed slide valves, then switch on the pump and then the UVC clarifier.

Check all connections for leaks.

When using filter starter, medicines or pond water treatments, do not operate the UVC clari-
fier for at least 36 hours.

Insert the power plug into
the socket.

The unit switches on as
soon as the power connec-
tion is established.

separately.

Checking the function

The function display is lit when the UVC lamp is switched on.
•
Bitron Premium 120 W / 180 W: The bright UVC light provides lighting for the function display.
A weakly lit function display indicates that the UVC clarifier is switched off. Recommended
function check:

Only switch on one UVC clarifier at a time. Switch off adjacent UVC clarifiers.
