This fan weighs 5.0 pounds [2.26 kg] with batteries. Only hang from a well-supported structure. Do
not sit under or place breakable objects under the fan. Do not hang anything from the fan or push
against a hanging fan.

Install batteries with the proper polarity (+ and -). There is a risk of explosion or leakage if batteries
are incorrectly installed.
ƒ
Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-
cad, ni-mh, etc) batteries.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1.
For best performance, use fresh alkaline batteries (D size, 8 required).
2.
Uses 8D batteries (not included) or UL Listed 12 VDC 500mA output AC adapter (included
for indoor use only). Adapter jack is located on the right hand side of the fan (see Fig. 1).
3.
To open battery covers, turn fan upside down. Using the arrows, slide the two battery
compartments open and lift up (see Fig. 1). Install 8D batteries following (+) and (-)
markings on the battery compartment (see Fig. 2).
Please refer to numerical battery order
for easy installation.
4.
To select speed, slide switch on side of the fan UP for HIGH (II) and DOWN for LOW (I).
Center position is OFF (O).
5.
If fan does not operate, check that batteries are installed properly.
PRODUCT NOTE
Please turn off fan when not in use. Remove batteries if consumed or if product is to be left unused for a long time.
Remove batteries for storage. There are no user-serviceable parts in this product. Do not disassemble. To clean,
use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the fan clean. Do not immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip
into the fan housing.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If fan does not operate, check that batteries are installed properly. If fan does not operate with AC Adapter, check
that fan is turned ON, that plug is fully inserted into the jack and that the wall receptacle is powered ON.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
1.
Para lograr un óptimo desempeño use baterías alcalinas nuevas (Tipo D, se requieren 8).
2.
Use 8 baterías “D” (no incluidas) o utilice el adaptador de CA de 12 VCC con salida de 500mA, listado
por UL (incluido para el uso en interior solamente). El conector del adaptador se encuentra en el lado
derecho del ventilador (vea Fig. 1).
3.
Para abrir las tapas de la batería, coloque el ventilador hacia arriba. Utilizando las flechas, deslice los
dos compartimientos de baterías hacia arriba y levante (vea Fig. 1). Instale 8 baterías “D” de acuerdo con
las marcas (+) y (-) que encuentra dentro del compartimiento de baterías (vea la Fig. 2). Por favor
consulte el orden numérico de las baterías para una fácil instalaci
ó n.
4.
Para seleccionar la velocidad, deslice el interruptor en el parte lateral del ventilador ARRIBA (UP) para
ALTA (II) (HIGH) y ABAJO (DOWN) para BAJA (I) (LOW). La posición centro es para apagar el
ventilador OFF (O).
5.
Si el ventilador no funcionar, verifique que las baterías estén correctamente instaladas.
NOTA SOBRE EL PRODUCTO
Por favor apague el ventilador cuando no lo use. Extraiga las baterías si se consumen o si el producto es que se no se
utiliza durante un largo tiempo. Extraiga las baterías antes de guardar la unidad. Extraiga las baterías antes de guardar la
unidad. Este producto no contiene partes que el usuario pueda reparar. No lo desarme. Utilice únicamente un trapo suave
humedecido para limpiar el ventilador. No sumerja el ventilador en el agua, ni deje que ingrese agua en la carcasa.
RESOLUCION DE PROBLEMAS
Si el ventilador no funciona, compruebe que las baterías estén correctamente instaladas. Si el ventilador no funciona con
el adaptador de CA, verifique que el ventilador esté encendido, que el conector esté totalmente insertado en el enchufe y
que el tomacorriente de la pared esté activado.
