5.1 Related Tools
5.1.1 Related Software Tools
Using the
Q-Code
programming, there are some peripheral tools to complete the functions. For
example, NYASM is used to compile program and generate the .bin file and .htm file. (This is an
important file to make the code).
The following tools may be used along with
Q-Code
:
Q-MIDI
:
This software is used to edit MIDI and timbre. Generated file’s extension is .qmd.
Quick-IO
:
This software is for drawing the signals of output pin. It must be used together with
WAV file and the extension name of the generated file is .nyq.
Q-Visio
:
This software is for drawing the signals of output pin and the extension name of the
generated file is .vio.
Q-Touch
:
This software is for Touch-Key calibration, and the extension of generated file is .t9x.
Q-Writer
:
This software is for programming the BIN file into Flash Demo Board, Romter or OTP
for verification.
Note: When installing the Q-Code, it is recommended to install related tools simultaneously.
About the use of these tools, please refer to the user manual.
5.1.2 Related Hardware Tools
After finish programming and compiler, user can download the program to ICE to
demonstrate. It can
also be demonstrated through FDB_Writer or Q-FDB_Writer by writing onto the flash demo board.
What is ICE? ICE is the abbreviation of In Circuit Emulator. User only need to connect ICE to their
personal computers through USB, then download the finished program to ICE for simulating. (Detail
installation of ICE, please refer to
NYIDE
user manual).
NY4_COB / NY5_COB / NY7_COB can be used with ICE.
Note:
1. ICE has V1 / V2 (In following pictures, NY4 / NY5 uses ICE V1, NY7 uses ICE V2).
2. ICE V1 only supports NY4 / NY5.
3. ICE V2 supports NY4 / NY5 / NY5+ / NY6 / NY7 / NY9T.
