This document details connection instructions for the TDA8920/8950 amplifier modules. They are
intended for the hobbyist or home user and it is recommended that the user has some experience with
making basic electrical connections and knowledge of mains safety. Enigma Shop cannot be held
responsible for injury caused by careless use of this product. This module should not be used by
children.
Whenever making electrical connections to this module,
please ensure that mains power is
disconnected and the energy stored in the module allowed to discharge for at least 5 minutes before
touching it
. The board contains dangerous high voltages when AC power is present, which take some
time to dissipate even when the module is unpowered.
Remember, MAINS VOLTAGES CAN KILL!!
The TDA8920/8950 modules can be used in four modes. Please see the diagram and follow the
connection instructions below:
Mode 1: Stereo balanced audio input

(Please note, R channel is run in out of phase to improve amplifier performance)
