TWIN AMAZON
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the nutrient tank in position
making sure that it is level. Fill with water to the
maximum level indicator (100 litres). Place
both the chambers into position with the
lowest drain points at either end of the tank.
The Twin Amazon delivery assembly kits are
packed fl at. Turn the side arms at the blue
elbow joints so the sprinklers point up.
Turn the centre bar so the pump connector
points down. The arrows in the sprinklers
should also be pointing straight up.
Fit the strainer and foam fi lter to the pump
inlet. Make sure the pump outlet is at 90
degrees to the main body of the pump. Move
the foot and sucker to the bottom of the pump
so the pump outlet is upright.
Place both delivery assemblies in position
with the side arms resting on the raised
grooves in each chamber base.
Feed the pump connectors through the holes
in each base into the nutrient tank.
Fit the pump outlet to the connector in
the middle of the T bar. It is a tight fi t and
may require some force. Attach the pump
connector on each delivery system to each
end of the T bar. You will probably need to lift
both chamber bases slightly to put the pump
into position. Secure it to the bottom of the
nutrient tank with the rubber sucker.
Place each chamber lid into position.
Plug the pump in to test, look through
several holes to ensure that all 4 sprinklers are
working correctly in each chamber.
Slide the tank cover in place to exclude light
from the nutrient solution.
Carefully place your young plants in the holes
(they should already be in net pots). If they
have dangling roots (i.e. have been raised
in an aeroponic propagator) turn them while
inserting, this will guide the roots through
without damaging them.
Add a fully balanced hydroponic nutrient
according to the nutrient label instructions or
growing schedule. Turn on the pump and top
up your nutrient tank every few days.
